The Traditional Boat Squadron generally has social sailing days
on Lake Burly-Griffin, in the heart of Canberra, on the 3rd Sunday
of each month. Given the vagaries of ACT weather they are usually
quite pleasant, but can occasionally, during winter months, be wiped
out. We have a small mixed fleet of steam boats, sailing boats and
put-puts, and would welcome any like-minded visitors passing through
the region. There are some pretty funny regulations regarding
powerboats on Lake Burly-Griffin, but our members are able to assist
with obtaining temporary permits for traditional boats.
